S. Hamilton St. $55. 8×10 inches, oil on board. This is an alley behind the Tornado Club just off the Capitol Square. I was attracted by the colors in this scene, the many greens and the orange ramp entrance in the distance. A nice guy came by and said, “I’m glad you’re painting that. I used to have my office here and I always thought that would make a good picture.” It’s surprising how most people completely ignore what I’m doing and if they don’t, they’re almost always say nice things.
