E. Washington Ave. $45. 8×10 inches, oil on board. (Or just “East Wash” –if you don’t live in Madison). After they did a complete reconstruction of the bridge over the Yahara River, it looked pretty much the same as before from the street. But down below was a huge difference with tunnels for bike paths on both sides, plus ramps connecting the paths below to the street above. This was a quiet Sunday afternoon with me on the River bank and a few people fishing nearby. Surprisingly, there were very few boats disturbing the river surface as I painted. I put in a few ducks, but then took them out again. Reflections are really fun to paint.
