Luddington Ave. Sold. 8×10 inches, oil on panel. I live on Luddington. Not too many people do. At two blocks, it’s one of Madison’s shortest streets. Right across the street is Lowell School. My neighbors tend to look at me strangely when I’m set up near the curb, staring at their house for a few hours. But this house was empty and for sale at the time. Later, when we went to meet our new neighbors, they said, oh, you’re the artist. I guess they saw me while they were being shown the house. Maybe I sold the house for the owner, who wouldn’t want to live near an artist?
