W. Johnson St. II. $50. 8×10 inches, oil on panel. This is the view from the other side of the street with, of course, the Capitol in the background. Someday I’m going to do a series of pictures all around the Capitol square, with the dome somewhere far off in the background–it’ll be like “Where’s Waldo.” Anyway, I liked all the variations on beige of the highlighted parts of the buildings and then the different shadow colors of the same buildings.
