Still unable to travel, I've been casting about for things to post. This was a half-hour sketch I did to try out my new Visual Journal notebook. Painted from a Web photo, probably on http://artists.pixelovely.com/practice-tools/figure-drawing/, a great site for drawing practice.
For those who are like me and troll the Web to figure how to do things, here's my blog posting process, all done on the Ipad:
1. Lay the picture for the post as flat as possible in good light. Take a photo with Ipad, squaring up as much as possible and leaving extra margin all around.
2. Open photo in Photogene app and rotate, crop, etc. and save at a little smaller size.
3. Open Blogsy app and import picture from Ipad Photos. Add title, write text, and add tags.
4. Publish. That's it. The nice thing is, I can do this anywhere where there's wifi.
