About a half-hour quick sketch from an online Croquis Cafe pose by Rhus. I've been reading about photoshop painting techniques and for this I used layers for the background texture and to make adjustments to the skin color. Plus I used the alpha lock feature in Procreate to lighten the color of the original line drawing from black to brown. I've settled on a main drawing brush that varies in size with the speed of the stroke, and here I experimented with some industrial texture brushes for the background. Plus I use quick strokes with the smudge tool to vary the shading and edges. Still a long way to go, though.
